TONEWOOD FAMILY MUSIC, INC.
Our Teachers

Every Music Together® teacher must complete an intensive teacher training in order to be certified to teach the program. A Music Together teacher has a special mix of musicality, creativity, and silliness that allows children to feel comfortable creating music of their own both in class and at home. Here are the wonderful teachers at Tonewood Family Music:

photo David Ford

David is not only a Music Together® teacher, he is also the center's director! He holds a BFA in Drama (Musical Theater) from Carnegie Mellon University. In 2008, David and his family moved to Gainesville from New York City where David was a professional actor, singer, dancer and instrumentalist. He has appeared around the world in dozens of professional stage productions - and in several motion pictures. With the birth of his second son, David decided to bring Music Together to Gainesville with "Tonewood Family Music, Inc." Find out more about David at his actor website: www.DavidPatrickFord.com!

Prentiss Ladkani

Prentiss is a Music Together parent turned teacher. Her experience teaching violin to children, having a child of her own, and having attended Music Together classes with her child led her to a desire to be a Music Together teacher herself. She completed her training in September 2010 and now offers her very own Music Together class! We welcome her to Tonewood Family Music with open arms and hope that you will, too!
